Anne Di Lauro 7.30pm 3 August
The Swiss psychiatrist C.G. Jung developed a body of theory concerning psychology based largely on his observations of the nature of the Unconscious. His many volumes of writings are mainly focused on the ways that the Unconscious manifests itself through images and symbolic language, having their roots in what he originally called “Primordial Images” and later called “Archetypes”.
This talk will give an outline of Jung’s theories of the Unconscious with examples of its expression through images and symbols.
Anne Di Lauro has presented several talks to the Brisbane Theosophical Society on the subject of Jungian psychology over the past years. She is a former president of the C.G. Jung Society of Queensland. She has now retired from working as a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist in private practice.
