Geoff was born to Theosophist parents, and he was encouraged to join the YTs (Young Theosophists) in his late teen years. He worked as an electrician and then a TV technician since early 1960s, and later began altar work, leading to his priesthood for over 40 years. He became more involved in the Theosophical society again in the last 3-4 years and is currently a committee member of the Brisbane lodge of TS.
